The meaning
ẸWÀ is a Yoruba word meaning beauty. But not all beauty asks to be seen first. Some beauty is felt before it is understood. For ALPAC London, ẸWÀ becomes a scent of softness and warmth. Bright citrus opens it up, before amber, musk and soft woods settle close to skin, revealing themselves slowly. You don’t need to shout your presence, but it is felt by everyone.
From Timi
“I wanted ẸWÀ to feel easy to wear, but hard to forget.”
ẸWÀ came from the lighter side of Lagos for me. Sun on skin, fruit cut open, air moving through the room.
The citrus gives it lift at the start. Then the amber, musk and woods settle in, so it stays warm without becoming heavy.
